How to Support Hams Radio

Field Day 2005

This was our very first Field Day for LaredoHams. We were not able to get the word out in time and time was short. However, we did get several amateurs that stopped by. Thanks to everyone who helped setup and tear down. Here are some pics to enjoy.

Jacob KD5TMP and Bob W5EVH

Bob N5RMQ - Sets up his very nice QRP rig. He Rocks!

John WD5FLU working some CW, Jacob KD5TMP relaxing and John's son

We had other amateurs that were there and some that showed up but the camera scared them off and they were hiding. Next time, we will sneak it in. :)

We had a very good turn out and were very happy we got something up and running on the air with very little if not enough time to setup and plan. This was a last minute thing.

Next year, we will be a lot better prepared and have a lot more toys to play with.
We have big plans. :)

Again, thanks to everyone who showed up and helped, even if you did not show up on camera.
